We use collaborative, evidence-based therapies to support the diverse needs of our clients. With offices based in Crozet and Richmond, VA, appointments are offered both in-person at either location or via tele-health throughout Virginia.

Psychiatrist
In our Richmond and / or Crozet Office Locations
We are seeking a skilled board-certified psychiatrist to join our experienced and collaborative group as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate has a passion for helping individuals with psychiatric disorders, working as part of multi-disciplinary practice, and providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Services to Perform
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, and monitor their effectiveness and side effects.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and primary care
- physicians, to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Potential to provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals and groups
Minimum Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Experience working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of mental health conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of advancements in the field of psychiatry.
Clinical Psychologist – Assessment
Richmond
Aligned Clinical and Educational Services is currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join their experienced and collaborative group in Richmond, Virginia as a private contractor. Duties include consulting with teachers, parents, foster care workers, and case managers, administering psychological assessments, report writing, and if interested, psychotherapy.
Minimum Requirement
- Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- A minimum of one year clinical experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders.
- Evidence of high standards of practice outlined by the American Psychological Association and State Licensing Board.
Preferred Qualifications
- More than three years of clinical experience with evidence-based therapies
Child, Family, and/or Adult Therapist
In person or work from home
We are seeking a licensed mental health therapist to join our experienced and collaborative group as an independent contractor, such as a licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed clinical psychologist, and/or licensed school psychologist.
Services to Perform
- Diagnose clients according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5-TR)
- Provide evidence based psychotherapy services in person or via telehealth
- Maintain electronic health records according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Follow ethical and legal guidelines for clinical practice
Minimum Requirement
- Licensed to provide therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Willing to work as an independent contractor on full time or part time basis
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years experience providing therapy
Child, Family, and/or Adult Therapist – ASL Fluent
In person or work from home
We are seeking a licensed mental health therapist with American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency to join our experienced and collaborative group as an independent contractor, such as a licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed clinical psychologist, and/or licensed school psychologist. Contractors have the choice to be in-network or out-of-network with insurance panels. There are various opportunities for collaborative work with other providers, as well as group supervision.
